Surface cooler freezing prevention and treatment methods
1. Control the water supply temperature to not be lower than 2°C, and the fan is linked to the waterway (first turn on the fan and then turn on the water, first stop the water and then turn off the fan).
2. Monitor the return air/supply air temperature in real time, and automatically increase the water volume, reduce the wind speed or shut down refrigeration when it is lower than 5℃.
3. Clean the fins and filter regularly to ensure the air volume and avoid frost formation due to low local wind speed.
4. Install a bypass valve in the waterway to bypass the return water when the load is low to prevent the coil water from flowing slowly.
5. The surface cooler is equipped with anti-freeze temperature control and electric heating, which can be used in low-temperature environments.
Emergency treatment methods for surface cooler freezing
1. Immediately shut down the refrigeration water circuit and compressor, keep the fan running at low speed, and use natural wind to melt ice.
2. It is prohibited to hit the ice surface with hard objects or shower it directly with hot water to prevent the fins from deforming and the copper pipes from cracking.
3. During the ice melting process, clean the water in the water tray promptly to avoid overflow.
4. After the ice has completely melted, check whether the coil is leaking and whether the fan and damper are normal. Find out the cause of the ice and solve it before restarting.
